LaserJet 2050 kicked out of IE and office applications
Ran into an issue where users had a HP LaserJet 2050 installed and every time they tried to print they were getting kicked out of the application they were printing from and also Internet Explorer. In the event log was an error that had something to do with the HP print driver. On HP's website there is only one print driver available for this printer.
To fix the issue I removed the printer, re-added the printer as a local printer using a tcp/ip port and using the HP Universal Print Driver PCL5e. Ever since they are printing fine and they also commented that there is no longer a delay from the time they hit print till it actually starts printing.
